Stolen Toyota Rumion Recovered Stripped in Dennery

A Toyota Rumion stolen at gunpoint in La Croix Maingot has been recovered in a severely stripped state at Denière Rivière, Dennery.

The vehicle, taken by armed robbers at approximately 9:45 p.m. on January 4th, was found missing its most valuable parts. Only the four doors, some rubbers, and plastic components were left behind, prompting speculation that the thieves planned to return for the remaining parts.

Authorities believe the vehicle was targeted for its high-value components, which may have been intended for resale. The stripped vehicle highlights concerns over escalating criminal activities, particularly involving armed robberies.
