Student injured during an altercation with another in Castries

The emergency officials attended to a 14 year old student who came to the headquarters of the Saint Lucia Fire Service with injuries to his head and to his left ear on Monday afternoon.

According to reports, two students from the same school were in an altercation during which one of the students sustained injuries after he was attacked with what is believed to be a cutlass.

He was treated at the station and then transported to the OKEU hospital for further medical attention.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
