Students Injured as Minibus Plunges Down Incline in Grace

In a harrowing incident that unfolded during the early hours of the morning, a minibus ferrying eleven students to the Anse Ger Secondary School veered off course and careened down an incline in Grace. The cause of the accident was suspected to be brake failure, sending shockwaves through the community.
Emergency responders from the fire service sprang into action promptly, rushing to the scene at approximately 7:26 am to assist those involved in the unsettling ordeal. Upon arrival, they were met with a distressing sight: a minibus precariously perched down an incline, its occupants rattled by the sudden turn of events.
Despite the gravity of the situation, the fire service personnel worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals involved. In total, twelve individuals, including the driver and the eleven students, were carefully transported to St. Jude Hospital for urgent medical attention.
The victims, bearing the brunt of the accident, suffered from a range of injuries as a result of the tumultuous descent down the incline. The severity of their injuries varied, underscoring the chaotic nature of the incident.
