Suspected drowning on Reduit Beach

Police are investigating a suspected drowning on Reduit Beach, on Saturday  evening at about 5 pm.

Reports are that a male individual went for a swim when he encountered  difficulty.

Some individuals who were on the beach at the time, heard a cry for help but by the time they went to rescue him, he was found unresponsive.

He was pronounced death by a medical professional on the beach.
