Suspected suicide in Babonneau

A male individual was transported to the OKEU hospital after he ingested a poisons substance at his home in La Guerre, Babonneau. He died a few hours later.

The deceased is identified as 64 year old Patrick St Clair.

The poisonous substance is believed to be Gramoxone.

Paraquat is also often referred to as Gramoxone (a popular end-use product). It is an important tool for the control of weeds in many agricultural and non-agricultural settings. It is also used for desiccation of crops, like cotton, prior to harvest.
