Suspected suicide in Choiseul

Police a investigating a report of a suspected suicide in Choiseul on Monday at about 11:30 pm.

The deceased is identified as 82 year old Ignatius Jn Baptiste, a resident of La Maz.

According to reports Ignatius Jn Baptiste wife found him hanging in his room from a rope.

The officers from the Vieux Fort responded to this incident and upon arrival they found Jn  Baptiste unresponsive.
