The 2024 Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) has officially begun

The 2024 Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) has officially begun, with the fleet departing from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. To mark the occasion in Saint Lucia, several vessels sailed from Castries Harbor to Pigeon Island in a commemorative event.

The rally features approximately 850 skippers from 38 countries aboard 141 vessels, all making their way to the finish line at IGY Rodney Bay Marina. An additional four vessels, delayed due to technical issues, are expected to join the journey in the coming days.

Representing Saint Lucia in Las Palmas is Thomas Leonce, Board Director and Head of the Marketing Committee at the SLTA and Denise Mauricette, Maritime Tourism Officer.
