The Nobel Laureate Festival 2024

2024: Saint Lucia’s two Nobel Laureates: Sir William Arthur Lewis (1915-1991), awarded the Nobel Prize for Economics in 1979 and Sir Derek Alton Walcott (1930-2017) , awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1992, will once again be
honoured during the annual Nobel Laureate Festival in 2024. The Nobel Laureate Festival Committee (NLFC) invites your media house to view the launch which will be televised by the National Television Network (NTN) on 4 January
2023 at 10:00am. The launch can also be viewed online on the festival Facebook page, @nobellaureatefestivalsaintlucia, the NTN YouTube page, and by contacting NTN on (758) 468-2116 for a video copy.

The launch features a new 26 minute format which includes remarks by the Chair of the Nobel Laureate Festival Committee, H.E. Dame Pearlette Louisy, Governor General Emerita of Saint Lucia, and video and pictorial highlights of past and upcoming festival events.
