The Project Implementation Unit has commenced its series of training sessions on "Communication Skills" and "Media Interview Skills" to its internal stakeholders

he first Communication Skills Training targeted staff members from the Bureau of Health Education who gain knowledge on effectively communicating with clients in their day-to-day duties, active listening, customer service and dealing with a difficult customer/client to name a few areas. The training session included both a practical and theory component. A short sensitization exercise on the PBF Pilot Program was done as well.
The "Communication Skills" and "Media Interview Skills" training sessions in the first instance will target the participating PBF facilities to help them communicate on the PBF Pilot Program and other health programs and activities. Internal stakeholders such as Substance Abuse Advisory Council Secretariat SAACS, Nutrition Unit and other ministry departments will also benefit from these training sessions.
