The SLMB Opens The Doors To Its New Retail Outlet

THE SAINT LUCIA MARKETING BOARD HAS RELOCATED THEIR RETAIL STORE TO THE JOHN COMPTON HIGHWAY TO MAKE HEALTHY EATING ACCESSIBLE TO SAINT LUCIANS AND VISITORS ALIKE.
The Saint Lucia Marketing Board has relocated Its Retail Store to the John Compton Highway to make healthy eating accessible to Saint Lucian’s and visitors alike.
During a ceremony to celebrate the grand opening, held on the morning of Monday 13th February 2023 , local farmer, Mr Ausbert Regis addressed those present on the need to make farming more sustainable and attractive to young people.
He stated “We want to ensure that the next generation of farmers would be attracted to it and one way we can do this is to make agriculture more sexy, to attract the young persons by mechanization and by other bits of technology.”
Member of Parliament for the constituency of Castries Central and Minister with Responsibility for Housing and Local Government, Hon. Richard Frederick highlighted that this initiative was birthed as a result of, “the power of collaboration”.
During the event, General Manager of the Saint Lucia Marketing Board, Mr. Vincent La Cobiniere sent out an open invitation to all Saint Lucians to come and see the new establishment, the products on offer and ultimately to patronize.
He commented,
“We urge Saint Lucians to continue to patronize the board. We want you to come and see the product offerings. You will be shocked and amazed to see where the marketing board is now and where we are planning to go. ..Continue to Eat Fresh, Saint Lucia’s Best”
The new Saint Lucia Marketing Board Retail Outlet is located at the Castries Market, Facing the Vendor’s Arcade.
