Three employees at OKEU Hospital have tested positive for coronavirus

Hospital Director Nancy Francis says, three employees at the hospital have been tested positive for covid. These employees are one administrative staff and two physicians.

As a result  of this, the Orthopedics, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Anesthesiology clinics closed for 14 days.

A hospital employee will be in contact with all outpatients for the aforementioned clinics with regards to a rescheduled date and time. Therefore, the public is cautioned to avoid coming to the hospital if an appointment is not given.

Additionally, the public is reminded of the visiting hours at Owen King EU Hospital every day from 6:00am - 6:30am and 12:00pm -12:30pm. Absolutely no evening visits. As usual COVID-19 Protocols will be in full effect 1. Wearing of masks 2. Sanitization of hands.
