Three Injured in Kia Truck Overturn Near Castries Comprehensive Secondary School

A Kia truck with three occupants overturned near the Castries Comprehensive Secondary School (CCSS) on Wednesday evening, leaving two individuals hospitalized.

At around 5:26 p.m., the Castries Fire Station received an emergency call reporting an overturned vehicle near CCSS. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and found a mid-sized Kia truck overturned on the roadside. The three men inside the truck had already exited the vehicle and were waiting for assistance. The emergency crew assessed the condition of all three men. While two of them agreed to be transported to the Owen King EU (OKEU) Hospital for further medical care, the third individual declined emergency transportation. The incident is under investigation to determine the cause of the truck overturning. Authorities are also monitoring the conditions of the two individuals who were taken to the hospital.
