Three men shot, one among them dead in Laborie

Three men were shot and one among them died on the spot near a nightclub in Laborie during the early hours on Saturday morning.
The deceased is identified as Eric Thomas, a resident of Avenue, Laborie.
It is alleged that Eric was inside the nightclub with a firearm and was approached by a police officer to disarmed him during which he assaulted the officer.
The other officers who were in the area came to help their colleague and attempt to disarmed Eric. He went outside the club.
There was an exchange of gunfire outside, and Eric was shot and killed in the process.
A 9 mm pistol was in his possession.
Two other men sustained gunshot injuries.
