Tourist found dead at a resort in the Soufriere

 A popular resort in Soufriere reported a male tourist dead in his room on Wednesday morning.

According to reports, he was found by a gardener who was tending to the resort's grounds.

This incident is being treated as a suspected suicide ,according to preliminary investigations.

Resort staff immediately alerted the local authorities upon discovering the distressing scene.

The deceased and his wife were scheduled to leave the resort yesterday, But they extended it for one more day.

Police are conducting their investigations.

There are no further details at this time.
