Tragic Drowning Incident  in Choc

On Tuesday October 31, at approximately 10:50 a.m., personnel from the Fire Service Headquarters responded to an emergency call at Choc, Castries. The responding officers found a male individual lying on the ground being
attended to by a medical professional. Care of the patient was taken over by the officers and he was transferred
to the awaiting ambulance for an assessment and continued emergency treatment. The assessment revealed that the individual was void of vital signs. Emergency intervention was continued and rapid transportation to a medical facility was provided. During which, the patient’s condition remained unchanged.
