twenty-seven year old charged for the Possession of Firearm

About 9:50 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2022, officers attached to the Special Services Unit, apprehended a male in La Toc, Castries, who was in possession of a 9mm pistol and three (3) rounds of .380 ammunition.

The officers, who were conducting routine patrols at the time, arrested the suspect, who was detained in police custody.

Bradley Celestin, a twenty-seven (27) year old resident of La Toc, Castries, was formally charged by officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department and was escorted before the First District Court.

He was granted bail in the sum of $20,000.00 cash or suitable surety on the charge of Possession of Firearm and $5000.00 cash or suitable surety in relation to the charge of Possession of Ammunition. The matter was adjourned to February 24, 2023, for case management.
