Two St Lucians Rescued in the Columbian waters

Two St Lucians were rescued in the Columbian waters after they were adrift on a 22-foot boat for more than a month.

Fishermen in the area alerted the Columbian authorities of a drifting vessel at 32 nautical miles off Cayo Serranilla.

The two St Lucians were recued by Colombian Navy. They were transported San Andrés where local authorities are now coordinating their efforts to return them home safely.

The cause of their distress are unknow at this time.
