Two Wooden Houses Destroyed by Fire in Ciceron, Castries

On Tuesday, emergency personnel from the Castries headquarters of the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) responded to a fire in Ciceron, Castries, which engulfed two wooden houses.
The SLFS received the call shortly after noon and immediately dispatched firefighters to the scene. Upon arrival, they found both houses, located in close proximity to each other, fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters worked quickly to contain and extinguish the blaze, preventing further spread to nearby structures. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation as authorities work to determine what led to the destruction of the two homes.
