UHC survey underway

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE SURVEY IS TO UNDERSTAND THE PUBLIC'S KNOWLEDGE AND EXPECTATIONS REGARDING UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE.

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs would like to inform the public of its two ongoing surveys, one on Universal Health Coverage and the other on the effects of COVID-19 on diet, exercise and non-communicable diseases.

The surveys are meant to gather information to assist the Ministry in developing policies and plans to better serve the population.

The survey on Universal Health Coverage will be conducted online. The Government of Saint Lucia aims to make healthcare more accessible to all segments of the population and facilitate more inclusive health coverage via its Universal Health Coverage initiative. 

Universal Health Coverage means that all people have access to health services when they need them, without enduring any financial hardship or paying for healthcare out of pocket.

The implementation of Universal Health Coverage will mark a major journey in Saint Lucia's healthcare system. As such, the Government of Saint Lucia via the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs, will endeavor to develop and implement a health program that will benefit all Saint Lucians.

The objective of the survey is to understand the public's knowledge and expectations regarding Universal Health Coverage. Therefore, we invite you to take this short survey as part of our Universal Health Coverage public engagement exercise, which will contribute to crafting a better health system for all Saint Lucians. 

Please note that Ministry of Health has NOT commissioned any in-person or face to face surveys. Hence, at no time should anyone visit your premises to conduct these surveys on behalf of the Ministry of Health.
