Umpa arrested and charged for fake vaccination card

Umpa was arrested and charged by police for futtering a fraudulent document and possession of a fraudulent document earlier this week.
He was taken to court where he was granted bail in the sum of $8000 cash or suitable surety.
The digital vaccination card was introduced in St Lucia in December 2021.
The music artist is also featuring in a promotion with the Ministry of Health encouraging people to get vaccinated.
The police say several other people have been arrested for similar offences.
