United Workers Party endorsed candidate for Vieux Fort South, Mrs. Leanna Johannes Paul is expressing concern over an apparent homicide

United Workers Party endorsed candidate for Vieux Fort South, Mrs. Leanna Johannes Paul is expressing concern over an apparent homicide which occurred overnight in which a resident of La Ressource, Vieux Fort, 39 years old Javan Etienne became the victim.

The victim's body was discovered with what appeared to be major lacerations which were inflicted by unknown individuals.

Mrs. Paul appeals to residents and young people from the Vieux Fort South Constituency to seek to address their disagreements and conflicts through non-violent means. Mrs. Paul stated that as the "incoming Parliamentary

Representative", she will give priority to the creation of employment opportunities and support for entrepreneurial initiative as part of a  strategy to focus the energies and thoughts of the youth of the constituency in a more meaningful direction.
