Update - Man dead after he was shot multiple times in Castries

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident which occured in  Riverside Road, Castries at about 1:30 pm.

According to reports, a male individual sustained gunshot injuries. He was transported to a medical facility via ambulance.

The victim who is in his forties scummbed to the gunshot injuries hours later. He was shot multiple times.

One individual is in police custody inconnection with this incident.
