UPDATE ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SLNYC SAFEGUARDING PROCESS

The National Executive of the Saint Lucia National Youth Council hereby notifies the public upon advice from the Independent Commission appointed to investigate the alleged misconduct of a National Executive member, that additional time will be required beyond the initial June 25, 2021 deadline to successfully complete the ongoing investigation. A formal progress report has been requested from the committee which will include the new projected completion date.
We trust that the expertise among members of the Independent Commission will bring an impartial resolution to the situation and guide the SLNYC and its members on the way forward.
