Update - two men shot dead in Deglo

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of two bodies riddled with bullets at Deglo on Tuesday afternoon at about 3:30 pm.
One of the men who was discovered by people in the area is identified as Brinatto Stephen of Vieux Fort. He is the son of Rufus Stephen, alias ‘Brico’ who was shot and killed last year. The other male individual who was discovered while police was searching the area have not been identified.
This disturbing discovery adds to the alarming trend of violence gripping the nation, with Saint Lucia's homicide toll now reaching 24. The senseless loss of life underscores the urgent need for comprehensive efforts to address and curb the escalating levels of violence within the country.
