PRESS RELEASE – With the surge in covid-19 cases recorded on island, the Soufriere Regional Development Foundation (SRDF) has augmented its set protocols at the Sulphur Springs Park. The protocols were revised with the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Tourism.
Effective immediately, the mud baths will be accessible to locals from 6:00am to 9:00am and 3:00pm until closure on weekdays. On weekends and holidays, the mud baths will be accessible exclusively to locals but not limited to short interruptions due to pre-booked tours.
According to the Operations Manager, Mr. Lester Cazaubon, “The changes were an absolute necessity in-keeping with its COVID-19 action plan in order to ensure the uncompromised safety of patrons to the Sulphur Springs Park and staff.”
The SRDF solicits the cooperation of all patrons and urges all to keep safe and adhere to the protocols.
