Vehicle Overturns in Massade, Gros Islet: Three Injured but Stable

A vehicle overturned in Massade, Gros Islet, on Tuesday, leaving three individuals with various injuries. The Gros Islet Fire Station's emergency personnel were alerted to the incident around 12:39 p.m., responding swiftly to the scene.

The accident involved an SUV carrying three occupants, and it was reported that the vehicle had overturned. In addition to the Gros Islet Fire Station, the emergency response team received support from the Babonneau Fire Station and the Saint Lucia Red Cross.

Stacy Joseph, Communications Officer of the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS), provided details on the injuries sustained by the three accident victims. The injuries included abrasions, lacerations, and a possible leg fracture. Despite the nature of the incident, all three individuals were reported to be in stable condition as they were transported to the OKEU Hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment.

The collaborative response from emergency services highlights the coordinated efforts to address road accidents promptly and efficiently. As the investigation into the circumstances of the accident progresses, updates will be provided to the public.
