Vehicle struck a pedestrian and several parked vehicles in Castries

At about 11:00 am, a unlicensed teenager took a vehicle, believed to belong to a relative, on Manoel Street without the owner’s consent.

He drove recklessly and as a result he damaged five vehicles and struck a woman pedestrian.

The 45 year old woman sustained abrasions. She was treated on the scene and the transported to the OKEU Hospital.

Police arrested the driver later.

Several photos and videos were posted on social media showing the accident scene.
