Vice President and representatives of the UNIDO met in Caracas

Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodriguez, met on Tuesday with representatives of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), instance which Venezuela signed the cooperation agreement 2018-2021 Country Program last May.

With the 2018-2021 Country Program is expected to promote the sustainable development of Venezuela, through actions such as boosting production of corn, sorghum, sugar cane, cocoa, coffee, beans and other legumes, seven categories classified as strategic.
In addition, the agreement provides for the development of strategic industrial development and modernization of production chains areas, accelerating certification mechanisms priority products for export, technology transfer and promotion of investments in the agribusiness sector, stage It will last between eight and ten months.
The second phase, technical assistance by UNIDO, was scheduled between June and July, with the aim of joining efforts to materialize the industrial culture of the South American country.
