Warning from Saint Lucia Fire Service: Beware of Impersonators Soliciting Funds Illegally

Good day, the Saint Lucia Fire Service would like to express its gratitude to the public
for trusting and supporting the organization and its members for the past fifty years. 
However, we have received reports that someone is misusing that trust by falsely
claiming to be a member of the Saint Lucia Fire Service and soliciting funds from the
public. Please be aware that impersonating a member of the Saint Lucia Fire Service is
illegal.
We condemn this behaviour and urge the public to be cautious when approached by
individuals seeking financial assistance. If you have been approached by someone
claiming to be a member of the Saint Lucia Fire Service and have lost money as a
result, we urge you to report this matter to the Criminal Investigations Department of the
Royal Saint Lucia Police Force.
The Saint Lucia Fire Service remains dedicated to serving and protecting the citizens of
Saint Lucia and will continue to do so with utmost devotion.
