According to the Ministry’s Chief Education Officer Dr. Fiona Phillip-Mayer, “….in this technologically advanced environment, this will augur well for improved instructional delivery & access for many of our students who may be unable otherwise to have access to a smart device. We support, applaud and are grateful for the level of corporate social responsibility shown by WLBL DBC and we encourage others to do the same.”
According to Brand Manager for Piton Malta, Mrs. Fern Wilson-Jean, “WLBL DBC and Piton Malta are happy to support this venture, recognizing the importance of remote learning when schools have been closed for months. We make it our duty to support the development of our youth and in extension the country. This plays a significant role in our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and being able to support youth development during this pandemic is fulfilling for us. Also, to have the Piton Malta brand associated with the significant impact on the continued development of our youth ties directly into our Nourishing Futures campaign.”
