Woman found dead at Bordelais Correctional Facility prison cell

Emergency personnel at the Dennery Fire Station received a call on Thursday 27 October at approximately 7:25 p.m. requesting assistance for an individual in distress at the Bordelais Correctional Facility.

The responding personnel found one 40 plus female unresponsive, void of all vital signs, lying on the floor of a cell. CPR was immediately initiated and continued en route to the Dennery Hospital where the patient was handed over to medical personnel.
