Woman shot dead in Vieux Fort

Police are investigating a deadly shooting occurred in Bruceville, Vieux Fort on Sunday night at about 9pm.

The victim is identified as 47-year-old Nicole Charles.

Reports are that Nicole was shot multiple times while lying on her bed.

She is the mother of three children.

She died on the scene.

This is the forth homicide over the Easter weekend.
