Woman’s body found in pool of blood in Soufriere

Police are investigating the discovery of a woman in her mid 40s dead in a pool of blood in her home in Fond St Jacques, Soufriere on 5th May 2022.

The son, Taj Stephen, told reporters that he discovered his mother on the floor of her residence.

According to him, “When I reached there the door was locked so I make the round around the house and when I came around I saw her lie down on the floor with only a top and without panty and blood running our from her mouth”

Taj says he does not know why would someone do that to his mother.

The deceased is identified as Cesinta Lionel.

This incident left the residence of Soufriere in shock and disbelief.
