Work is ongoing on the Amazona Properties Ltd building (the former Daher Mall) in Bois D’Orange

If you’ve driven to or from Gros Islet over the last few days, you would have noticed that rehabilitation work is currently ongoing on the Amazona Properties Ltd building (the former Daher Mall) in Bois D’Orange.
Government has entered into a Public Private Partnership with an investor to deliver on the rehabilitation of the building. As part of this PPP, we have sold the ground floor of the building to the investor whilst Government will maintain ownership of the two top floors.
This project will create new jobs both during construction and longer term jobs upon completion of the construction process. It will also further assist in reducing Government’s rental costs whilst facilitating the decentralization of Government services being primarily in the city of Castries.

Upon completion this facility will house a supermarket, a bank, restaurants, various shops and Government offices. We are also in negotiations with new call centres who have expressed an interest in expanding and moving their operations to Saint Lucia.
This is a win win situation for the Government and people of Saint Lucia as more economic activity will develop in this location and will help enhance the community and surrounding areas.

If someone died from the complication of taking the vaccine what does their family get in terms of compensation? And why do people with underlying medical conditions get vaccinated smfh it should be the other way around in my opinion and people should not be forced to take that jab
can’t take free will from us humans especially us being black coming from that whole slavery crap... where that freedom we suppose to have down here in the Caribbean can’t force a vaccine on someone to protect them against something they didn’t create which brings up the thought of “if I didn’t crate it better yet I should proctect myself since I’m not to sure of the dangers of not complying” this whole covid/vaccine thing seem trusting and convincing for a while but y’all mean the system y’all played with the information to much like y’all believe some ppl will realise what’s going on but In conclusion what I’m trying to say is let the ppl be free let’s them decide what’s best for them .
